On November 12, 2019, the final of the 16th Challenge Cup National College Student Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Work Competition was successfully concluded at Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. The project presented by the College of Marine Science of SHOU, Soft Bionic Squids Intended for Use in Underwater Detection and Fish Trapping, won the first prize, the best achievement made by SHOU in this event in the past decade.
