Recently, the General Office of the Ministry of Education has issued the Circular on Releasing the List of National and Provincial First-class Undergraduate Specialty Construction programs in 2019 (Document No.46 [2019] issued by the Department of Higher Education, the MOE). Six specialties of SHOU have been included on the list of the first batch of national first-class undergraduate specialty construction programs, including Aquaculture, Bioscience, Marine Fishery Science and Technology, Marine Technology, Food Science and Engineering, and Spatial Information and Digital Technology.
