On January 16, the SHOU-Westlake University Symposium on Hadal Science and Technology Development Strategies was held at SHOU. Present at the symposium were Qiu Min, Vice President of Westlake University; professor Yang Yang, Dean of the School of Engineering of Westlake University; Cheng Yudong, President of SHOU; Li Jiale, Vice President of SHOU; Wan Rong, Vice President of SHOU; professor Cui Weicheng; representatives of the hadal engineering technology team; and responsible persons of related functional departments and colleges of the two universities.
