On August 29, at the invitation of the Polar Research Center of SHOU and the Ministry of Education Key Laboratory for Ocean Fishery Resources Sustainable Development and supported by Sino-Australian Joint Research Centre for Ocean Engineering, Dr. Maria Mercedes Santos, research fellow of IAA and Vice Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the Commission for the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources (CCAMLR), paid a visit to SHOU, and presented an academic report entitled “The Ecosystem Program from the Instituto Antarctico Argentino”. Some teachers and students from the International Performance Research Center for Pelagic Fishery, the College of Foreign Languages, and the College of Marine Ecology and Environment attended the seminar. The seminar was presided by Professor Zhu Guoping from the Polar Research Center.
