About the lecturer:
Professor André Eric Punt, Doctor, internationally-famous fisheries stock assessment scientist and Chair of the Department of Marine Fishery of the University of Washington, is now Editor-in-chief of Fisheries Research and Associate Editor-in-chief of the Journal of Applied Ecology. Besides winning the Excellence Award of American Fisheries Society and Academic Scientific Research Award of the University of Washington, he has published more than 100 high-level academic papers, and is highly proficient in fisheries stock assessment and management; he ranks the first place in the global marine fishery field in terms of citations per paper, and enjoys an extremely high reputation among colleagues both at home and abroad.
