Organized by Jeju National University, the 10th International Meeting on Reproductive Biology of Aquatic Animals of the East China Sea was held in South Korea’s Jeju and over 50 experts and students from Nagasaki University, Hokkaido University, Ryukyu University, Jeju National University, Pukyong National University, Gangwon Province University discussed key issues of the East Sea aquatic animal reprehensive biology.
Professor Lv Weiqun and a student named Xiong Jianghong delivered presentations of “Neuro-endocrine Control of the Environmental Adaptability in fish - a study of fish caudal neurosecretory system(CNSS)” and “The effect of photoperiod on morphology and gene expression of caudal neurosecretory system in the Paralichthys olivaceus”. Professor Zhong Junsheng conducted the 3rd session and the 3 students gave post representations one by one. Preventatives from China, Japan and South Korea present at the meeting said they would have more in-depth exchange and cooperation in the East Sea sustainable aquatic life reproduction research and talent development.
