On June 17th 2013, a delegation of four members headed by Director 金钟浩 from the Foreign Cooperation Office of Yeungnam University visited Shanghai Ocean University. The reception was held by Professor Zhong Junsheng, Vice Director of the Foreign Affairs Office, Zhu Keyong, Vice Director of the Student Affairs Office, Zhang Murong, Vice Director of the Teaching Affairs Office, Professor Qi Yali, Chairperson of the Party of the College of Foreign Languages, Dai Huiming, Vice Chairperson of the Party of the College of Foreign Languages, Professor Quan Longhua and Vice Professor Li Haiying from the Department of Korean Studies, etc.
In the friendly talk, Vice Director Professor Zhong Junsheng and Director 金钟浩 briefed on the university history, development and international communication in recent years, and exchanged opinion on talent cultivating plans such as staff exchange, project cooperation, student exchange, and credit recognition, etc. Both parties are interested in establishing friendly ties from the shared specific disciplines not only in the student exchange of the Department of Korean Studies, but also in other disciplines including food sciences and life sciences. This discussion has further promoted our collaboration level with Korean Universities, and broadened the scope of cooperation, which will be beneficial for cultivating talents with international vision and high research level.
