Workshop Meeting Dates:2-9 April 2012

 Workshop Goals:Prepare and review stock assessment documentation and develop stock projections for Western and 
Central North Pacific striped marlin. Collect and review fishery data and nominal catch and nominal catch-per-unit effort data for Pacific blue marlin. Collect and review swordfish catch data.

Seminar Dates:11-13 April 2012

Seminar Goals:Present and discuss current research developments on Pacific fish and fisheries, stock assessment methods, fishery management approaches, marine turtle ecology and habitat requirements, bycatch mitigation, and stock enhancement. 

 Seminar Sponsors:Shanghai Ocean University, ISC(北太平洋金枪鱼类科学委员会), NOAA Fisheries(美国国家海洋大气局渔业部), and Chinese Academy of Fisheries(中国水产科学研究院)  

Accommodations:All participants will be responsible for making their own hotel reservations. A list of hotels for both the workshop and 

seminar is forthcoming.
