【专家简况】
Dr. Gleyn Bledsoe, BSE, MBA, PhD, CPA is an affiliate professor with the Department of Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology, University of Idaho and as a Professor with the Institute for International Agriculture and the National Food Safety and Toxicology Center, Michigan State University. He is an expert in economic development, primarily in agriculture, fisheries and natural resource arenas. Dr. Bledsoe received his PhD in Food Science/Aquaculture Engineering from the University of Washington, and MBA (Finance) University of Idaho, and BSE from the University of Washington. He is also a certified public accountant (chartered accountant) specializing in management advisory services. Dr. Bledsoe’s primary areas of interest are: food manufacturing, food engineering and aquaculture systems, food distribution and supply chain management, food safety and defense, and in entrepreneurial development particularly improvements to agricultural value-chains. Dr. Bledsoe has been a senior technical advisor on successful programs in 75 countries. During his career he has served on numerous high level government panels and advisory boards with the US Departments of Agriculture and Commerce and as an advisor to several foreign governments.
